Michael E. Thomas is a rock guitarist, singer-songwriter, producer, who cut his musical chops on the New Jersey shoreline and the gritty New York City scene. He has toured the east coast of America to England and Ireland. Michael performs shows in the UK and Ireland where he is currently based. His debut album, "When Bullets Fly", has received rave reviews. It reached the top 10 for 5 weeks in June 2000, for the "Favorite New Artist" catagory by Broadband Talent Net and appeared in the July 2000 issued of Billboard International Magazine.

September 1999, The Michael E. Thomas Band performed an electrifing showcase before a captivated audience at their record release party for "When Bullets Fly" at "THE FEZ" in New York City. Michael's style of guitar playing involves creating soundscapes using a violin bow and an echoplex.

The Band on 2006, "Wreckless Abandon" are Marcelo Gilberto-bass/backing vocals Carlo Latorraca-drums. It also has Jeff Levine-Hammond Organ/keys. The album was recorded October 2005 at Shorefire Studios in New Jersey and mastered by UE Nastasi at Sterling Sound in New York in January 2006.

The band on 1999,"When Bullets Fly" is one of the finest in the rock world, features ex-Wings/Joe Cocker drummer, Steve Holley and Joe Jackson Band bassist, Graham Maby. Some of Michael's friends who also helped out on the record include bass virtuoso, T.M. Stevens who has recorded with everyone from Whitney Houston to Steve Vai to Miles Davis, Joe Cocker to James Brown. Percussion was handled by ex-Julio Inglesis Band member, Jim Theobald. The band on 2004,"Ruby In The Dust" is Steve Holley, drums, Guy Fleming, bass, John McCullough, piano,hammond organ, Susan Heerema, violin with special guests Henry McCullough lead guitar,vocals (Joe Cocker/Wings) T.M. Stevens, bass (see above) Ed Mundell lead guitar(Monster Magnet,Atomic Bitchwax) as well as traditional Irish musicians.
